They say “to know a business is to be in business” and I couldn’t agree more.  Settled In Services started as a full service home concierge company with a  focus and goal of assisting families during life’s transitions with estate liquidation after their loved ones pass.  We started having Estate Sales and got really good at researching items, staging and organizing the sales but we knew this was not our ultimate goal or where we wanted to be.

It was in this research that we discovered a love for the history of the pieces we came across and the story they told.  A passion was born for incorporating these precious items into today’s modern world by curating a collection of pieces that add a unique style and character to today’s spaces.  At the Settled In Shop we believe that every home needs a bit of history and feel that shopping sustainably starts with preloved modern, vintage and antique pieces.

Meet Our Team

Cathy Clark-Reyes

I have been a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years and have helped countless clients organize their eating habits to optimize their health. I have seen people’s lives transform physically and emotionally through compassion and understanding; listening to a person’s needs and utilizing a holistic approach to create a practical solution for individuals and families. Personally, I have always had a passion for all things of the home.
I love remodeling projects, home repairs and interior design but felt I lacked the working knowledge to pursue it as a career. I obtained a training certificate in Interior Design from the University of Miami and with that, the Settled In Shop has allowed me to combine my passion for working with people together with my interest in all things of the home. Keeping my approach simple, practical and sustainable have been at the forefront of my philosophy.

Sergio Dore

Ever since I can remember I have loved vintage and antiques of all kinds – cars, music, tools, books, furniture, anything! At 18 I started restoring vintage cars turning that into a hobby business that still I continue with today. I also have worked in furniture restoration and love the idea of giving an old piece (or car) a new life in today’s modern world.
Working at the Settled In Shop as Warehouse Manager I am able to continue with and contribute to breathing new life into that old piece. I take pride in carefully transporting and packaging our items for their new homes!

Lourdes Clark

All my life I have been a lover of knowledge, history, travel and culture. I’m proud to say that I have visited over 50 countries exploring local culture, markets, arts, crafts and historic homes. I also have a passion for historical literature leading me to genealogy and a natural curiosity for preserving our past. Settled In Services has allowed me to expand that curiosity for the arts, history and home décor.
It has allowed me to both learn and share my knowledge of vintage and antique goods, artwork, and fine collectibles. Sharing a little bit of the past with younger generations is my way of preserving the legacy left behind by those before us.

Patty Garcia

My greatest accomplishment in life has been my family, my two children – Anthony who is deceased and was the love of my life, Alexis, my pride and joy, my grandchildren who make my heart happy, and Tony, my husband of 40 years. In that time, I have prided myself in maintaining an organized home where they all may feel love and comfort.
I have helped many people organize their own homes, have pursued my love of interior decorating and home management. Not only do I bring my love of decorating to the Settled In Shop, but also my “chispa” and my love of helping others to the Settled In team. It is in helping that I feel happy and blessed.
