Antique Large French Louis XV Style Giltwood and Painted Trumeau Wall Mirror, c. 19th cent

This elegant 19th-century French trumeau mirror exemplifies the grace and ornamentation of the Louis XV style. Finely carved giltwood with hand-painted detailing frames the mirror, while the sculptural crest features scrolling rocaille and classical motifs. The generously scaled silhouette and softly aged mirror plate lend warmth, depth, and unmistakable antique character.  A refined and decorative statement piece, ideal above a mantel or console, and equally striking as a focal point in a living room, dining room, or entry hall.
