About R.G. Serrano

RG Serrano currently resides in Miami, Fl.  His imaginative explosiveness characterizes him among the young Cuban painters who are doing work beyond the seas. His drawing maintains the freshness in which a certain magical aspect of the island's reality can be reflected, like a mirror, which, despite being magical and playful, fails to impress us in the succession of dialogues that his figurations-characters engage in. Sometimes or many times, this young Cuban artist would like to fly over the geography of the Caribbean archipelago from which he comes. Sometimes he would like to be another child, swimming up the Almendares River... Or walking barefoot along the dilapidated Malecón Habanero. Sometimes he wishes he were a poet. Sometimes… by Angel Antonio Moreno.
